House Meeting Continues: Protests by Rastriya Swatantra Party
Despite obstruction from the fourth and fifth largest parties in Parliament — the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RaSWaPa) and Rastriya Swatantra Party ) — the meeting of the House of Representatives proceeded on Saturday.

As Speaker Devraj Ghimire prepared to begin the session, lawmakers from RaSWaPa and Rastriya Prajatantra Party stood up to protest. When the Speaker gave time to Nepali Congress Chief Whip Shyam Ghimire to speak during the emergency hour, the RSP strongly objected.
As Ghimire began his remarks, RaSwaPa lawmakers moved toward the rostrum, chanting slogans. They demanded the resignation of the Home Minister and the formation of an investigation committee in connection with the visit visa controversy.
