The now-vanished post, published Saturday, quoted Kabita saying:
“I had never seen snow in my life… then I reached the top of the Himalayas! I lay in the snow. Everything was new, and I enjoyed the experience.”

Netizens wasted no time digging up the receipts, calling out the inconsistency and questioning RONB’s post for lacking basic fact-checking. Critics didn’t just question Kabita’s quote they questioned the credibility of one of Nepal’s biggest online platforms.
Still, instead of issuing an editorial apology or even a clarification, RONB chose silence quietly deleting the post from Facebook, Threads, X, and Instagram. No statement. No accountability. Just gone.
