Complaint Filed Against Unified Socialist Whip Metmani Chaudhary
A formal complaint has been filed via post against Metmani Chaudhary, lawmaker and chief whip of the CPN (Unified Socialist), at the District Police Office in Dang. However, police say the complaint has not yet been officially registered and is currently under review.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Arjun Prasad Timilsina confirmed that the complaint arrived through the postal service, but it has not been entered into the official records. “We have received the complaint by mail, but it hasn’t been registered yet. We are still studying its content,” SP Timilsina said.
The complaint reportedly involves a claim of more than NPR 50 million. The identity of the complainant has not been disclosed by the police.
