Two Found Dead Alongside Dog in Budhanilkantha, Police Suspect Murder-Suicide

Two individuals and a dog were found dead under suspicious circumstances in Pasikot, Budhanilkantha Municipality-4, Kathmandu.

The deceased have been identified as 54-year-old Param Narayan Gill, a resident of Chandigarh, India, and 28-year-old Anjana Tamang of Galchi Rural Municipality-6, Dhading, according to SP Apil Raj Bohara, spokesperson of the Kathmandu District Police Office.

Their bodies were discovered inside a two-and-a-half-story house located within the compound of the Three-Star Kidzone School in Pasikot. A dog was also found dead at the scene.

Police recovered the bodies on Friday night and have since launched an investigation, suspecting foul play.

According to authorities, Gill had been renting a room in the house, where he lived and worked as a photographer. Both deceased individuals were found in the same rented room.

Preliminary investigations suggest the possibility of a murder followed by suicide, although police say further inquiry is ongoing to determine the exact cause and sequence of events.
